Not much progress today as I went to see a movie. So only some sanding and puttying to the swirl
And a bit more filing here. Amazing how a small little part can take so long to file.
I have contacted a laser cutting company to hopefully do some laser cutting of thin acetate for me for some fine details on the model. This will save me some time and be more accurate then what I can do with my hands. It took several hours over several days to draw up the file. So even though there is no photos showing the progress here I am still working on it.
